Custom Wood Shutters Designed/Crafted For You

Elevate the comfort and style of your home with custom plantation shutters from Stellar Custom Shutters. We specialize in designing/crafting beautiful, long-lasting shutters from real wood, ensuring a perfect fit and timeless look for any window in your home.

Why choose us?

This is what we do! Designing/crafting custom shutters is all that we do. We do not sell/manufacture drapes, shades, blinds, etc. Because we understand that shutters are a significant investment, our focus is on shutters and shutters only. This allows us to pay meticulous attention to detail, in addition to providing exceptional service, quality and competitive pricing.

Your vision, your needs, your home: We will take the time to fully understand your vision and your needs, with a passion to give your home the finishing touch that you desire.

Locally Made, Family Owned: Your shutters will be custom designed/crafted by a family owned company at our McKinney facility.

The real stuff! Our shutters are made from real wood (no vinyl, composite, mdf, pvc, etc.). The vast majority of our shutters are made from premium Basswood, which is native to eastern North America. Other available species include Poplar and Western Red Cedar.

Free In-Home Consultation: Our in-home consultation IS NOT a high-pressure sales pitch. We simply want to answer your questions, discuss options, offer suggestions and design ideas, and take detailed window measurements. We will also provide samples of the available stains and paint colors, louver sizes and frame/window trim options.

Feel free to call, text or email us any time. Or, click the button below and submit the “Free Consultation/Request Additional Info” form. We will contact you within one business day.

• Aesthetic appearance: Meticulously crafted from real wood; painted or stained in your choice of colors.

• Light control/privacy: Shutters offer unmatched light control and privacy, as the louvers can be easily tilted to achieve the perfect balance of light and privacy, whether you want a serene, tranquil feel or a bright and airy feel.

• Energy efficiency: Custom wood shutters act as an extra layer of insulation, helping to keep your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, potentially leading to energy cost savings.

• Durability & Easy Maintenance: Real wood shutters are built to last. With proper care they can grace your windows for decades. Unlike fabrics and other materials that trap dust and allergens, a simple wipe-down with a damp cloth keeps them looking their best.

• Wise Investment: Plantation shutters are a sought-after upgrade that can significantly boost your home's resale value.
